ZEISS ClearMind Lenses: See Clearly. Think Clearly.

ZEISS ClearMind Lenses

Your eyes take in an enormous amount of visual information every day.

Reading. Driving. Looking at your phone. Working on a computer. Moving between near and far. Taking in everything happening around you.

ZEISS ClearMind lenses are designed to make that visual experience feel clearer and more effortless.

At the heart of ZEISS ClearMind is ZEISS NeurOptix technology, an innovative lens design approach that combines optical science with insights into how our eyes naturally move and how we process visual information.

What is ZEISS NeurOptix technology?

Our eyes don’t look at everything in exactly the same way. They constantly move, scan and change focus as we take in the world around us.

ZEISS NeurOptix technology takes these natural eye movement patterns into account when designing the lens.

By aligning the lens’s clear vision zones with natural eye movements, ZEISS says ClearMind lenses provide up to 41% larger clear vision zones compared with their reference design.

The idea is simple: make more of the lens useful to your eyes as you move naturally through your day.

Extremely clear vision

Clear vision starts with reducing the amount of noticeable blur.

In a ZEISS survey of ClearMind wearers, 96% reported extremely clear vision.

That’s particularly relevant when your day involves lots of visual demands and constant changes in what you’re looking at.

Less cognitive load

Seeing clearly is only part of the visual experience. Your brain is constantly processing the information coming through your eyes.

ZEISS research found that 91% of wearers experienced less cognitive load compared with a ZEISS standard lens in a performance test of ClearMind progressive lenses.

The result is designed to support a more relaxed and effortless visual experience.

Better concentration

Whether you’re working at a computer, reading, driving or moving between different visual tasks, staying visually engaged matters.

In a ZEISS wearer survey, 76% of respondents said the lenses increased their ability to concentrate on tasks.

Increased well-being

When your visual experience feels more comfortable and effortless, it can make a difference to how you feel throughout your day.

84% of ClearMind wearers surveyed said the lenses contributed positively to their overall feeling of well-being.

These results come from ZEISS research and wearer studies. Individual experiences will naturally vary, but the research behind ClearMind is an interesting look at the relationship between lens design, visual behaviour and how we experience vision throughout the day.

ClearMind is designed for the way we see today

Modern life puts a lot of demands on our vision.

We’re constantly moving between screens, conversations, reading, driving, outdoor environments and everything else happening around us.

ZEISS ClearMind lenses are designed with those real-world visual demands in mind.

ClearMind is available in Single Vision, Digital and Progressive lens designs, so your ZEISS lens specialist can help determine which option is appropriate for the way you use your vision.
